Rev. Dr. Daniel Benga The Methodology of Scientific Study and Research in Theology Rev. Daniel Benga is an assistant professor of Universal Church History at the Faculty of Orthodox Theology from the University of Bucharest. Between 1997 and 2001 he got a research and documentation scholarship in Germany, offered to him by Diakonisches Werk Association. He also obtained two doctor’s degrees in theology from the Faculty of Orthodox Theology in Bucharest in 2000 and in 2001 from the Faculty of Evangelic Theology in Erlangen Germany. The methodical standards have become through practical assimilation parts of our being. They help us organize our whole way of thinking and living, reading a text, making a speech or having a dialogue. The methodology is not a science of dead matters but a science of life.
