The Gospel versus Judas
World is changing... A slogan of our days is the following: “The only stable thing is the change...” Are the Gospels changing? “Why not?” – You could ask me.
The Gospel of Judas starts from a apocryphal text attributed to Judas the Apostle. Having in mind the campaign done to it, it is possible that the interest of the man who does not go to church to be greater for the apocrypha or some other recent Gospels than that for the Church Gospels. It may be that, after a few years, the Gospel of Judas also may be considered a dead text, and another Gnostic writing to take its place in the top. One thing is clear: Judas did not write any Gospel, he could not do it, because he committed suicide. Others wrote it, Disciples of Christ’s treason. Those who would read the present work will understand that no matter how ample is the media campaign for promoting a heretical writing, nevertheless at the level of evidence, the text falls down. Who can believe that The Creator of Heaven and Earth is a bad demiurge, an inferior spirit? Who can dare to believe that the message of Christ was misinterpreted by the Church? For if Judas was the chosen Apostle, which means the truth of Christ was choked by the vain belief of the other Apostle. Nobody can believe all that is written in the Gospel attributed to Judas. More than that, there is no serious evidence to believe something from it. In exchange, we should have goodwill and listen to the evidence of Tradition... (Danion Vasile )
