Our mind must be so educated as to dwell on the Law of God, according to which we must lead our lives. When man’s soul is strengthened with the word of God, it acquires such wisdom that it becomes able to tell right from wrong. We must read the Scripture while we are alone, giving our entire attention to its truths, in order to receive the warmth that stirs weeping, for tears fill us with spiritual gifts which vivify mind and heart more than any words.
